Wet Stone Saw for thicker material with harder aggregates
For more demanding applications involving thicker materials with harder aggregates, SawMaster presents the industrial strength SDT-35 stone saw, which features a potent 2-1/2 HP direct-drive motor and a sizable 14" blade capacity. Combined with its lengthy 34" straight and 24" diagonal cutting distances, the saw can handle large stone jobs with relative ease.
Features Wet Stone Saw:
Powerful 2-1/2 HP Motor
The equipped powerful 2-1/2 HP direct-drive, water sealed motor provides maximum performance and a long service life.
The water pump conveys water from a hanging 20-liter bucket directly to the diamond blade. The bucket collects filtered water, which prevents damages to the pump from cutting debris. It also doubles as a convenient means for replenishing the water supply.
When adjusting the cutting head to an upright position, a limiter ensures that the cutting head is perpendicular to the cutting table.
Rear & Side Splash Guards
Splash guards reduce water spray to prevent the loss of water cooling during operation and to keep the work site clean.
The cutting head sits on a carriage that travels along a steel rail for the entire length of the saw. This arrangement maximizes its cutting capacity while providing a large cutting surface. When desired, the rail can be tilted 45° for miter cutting.
Plunge Cutting Capability
The cutting head offers a large vertical clearance that not only makes it capable of cutting at various depths, but it also allows the operator to perform deep plunge cuts with ease.
Rubber Matted Cutting Table
The easily removable cutting table is covered with an anti-skid rubber coating, which allows the material being cut to sit still on the table while the cutting head is pulled through it.
