SpecPoxy 1000 is a two-component, 100% solids, solvent-free, moisture-insensitive epoxy suited to bonding concrete, steel, and wood, gravity feed or pressure injection crack repairs, and anchoring bolts, dowels, and reinforcing bars.

Application Instructions

• Ensure surfaces are structurally sound, clean, and free of oil, grease, dirt, laitance, curing compounds, and foreign matter
• Achieve a surface profile of CSP 3 or greater via sandblasting or mechanical abrasion
• For crack injection, attach ports 6"-24" apart depending on crack width and thickness, sealing the crack surface with SpecPoxy 3000 FS (overlapping about 1-1/2" on both sides) before injecting SpecPoxy 1000
• For bonding, apply at 80 sq ft per gallon (about 20 mils); place fresh concrete while still tacky, or reapply if not
• Reaches initial cure in 24 hours and final cure in 7 days
