Application Instructions

Preparation

1. Test all substrates not intended to be treated before applying the cleaner. If testing indicates adverse effects, protect those surfaces before full-scale application.
2. Protect people, vehicles, property, plants, and all surfaces not targeted for cleaning from product contact, splash, rinse water, residue, fumes, and wind drift.
3. Rinse non-target materials with large quantities of water if contacted. Grass and plantings may be protected with sprinklers.
4. Divert pedestrian and vehicle traffic if necessary. Clean when traffic is at a minimum.
5. Best air and surface temperatures for cleaning are 40°F (10°C) or above. Colder temperatures may slow the rate of removal.
6. If surfaces have been exposed to freezing temperatures, allow them to thaw completely before applying the cleaner.
7. Do not apply in direct sunlight, as this may cause the cleaner to dry too quickly. Mist the surface with water prior to application to slow drying if needed.

Application — Spraying

1. Apply Tool & Equipment Cleaner with low-pressure spray equipment.
2. For improved vertical hang and dwell time on upright surfaces, use a foaming sprayer.
3. Allow the cleaner to dwell and react with cementitious buildup. The solution will remain red while active.
4. Do not allow the cleaner to dry on the surface before rinsing.
