National Signal’s ConSAM Construction Speed Awareness Monitor detects and displays the current speed of approaching vehicles in relation to the posted speed limit, increasing driver awareness and encouraging reduced speeds in active construction and roadside work zones.
Built to protect roadside workers and motorists alike, the ConSAM system combines solid-state electronics, a high-visibility LED display, and solar-powered battery recharging to deliver dependable performance with low maintenance and long service life.
Designed by the only traffic safety manufacturer that combines Integration + Intelligence, this monitor meets or exceeds all state and federal MUTCD traffic safety specifications while providing reliable, uninterrupted operation in demanding environments.
