Application Instructions

Surface Preparation

Before placement:

• Remove dirt, oil, grease, and loose materials.
• Ensure concrete is structurally sound and roughened.
• Remove rust and contaminants from metal surfaces.
• Bring substrate to Saturated Surface Dry (SSD) condition.
• Remove standing water before grouting.

Mixing

Mix in two stages:

• Add approximately 2/3 of required water.
• Add grout material while mixing.
• Add remaining water to achieve desired consistency.
• Continue mixing for 2–3 minutes.
• Place within 30 minutes of mixing.

Placement

• Place continuously from one side only.
• Avoid trapping air beneath plates.
• Do not vibrate grout.
• Maintain minimum 1-inch vertical clearance beneath base plates whenever possible.

Curing

• Cover immediately with wet curing cloths.
• Maintain moisture until final set.
• Apply ASTM C309 curing compound after final set.
