Mechanical

Wet screeds often suffer from high maintenance due to complex drive mechanisms connecting the engine to the exciter. The ScreeDemon™ eliminates these issues by using simple, durable, and cost-effective rubber isolators to drive the eccentric, reducing maintenance needs significantly.

Functionality

Conventional screed and bar combinations often lead to uneven vibration along the bar’s length, causing inconsistent concrete compaction and uneven cream levels. The ScreeDemon’s magnesium bar, with its unique back-to-back triangular design, is exceptionally rigid, ensuring consistent vibration transmission across the entire screed. Unlike traditional designs that rely on bolts—susceptible to wear from concrete exposure—the
ScreeDemon™ utilizes a simple clamp system. This eliminates the need for drilled holes, preventing bar weakening and making assembly or disassembly quick and effortless.

Operator Health & Safety

Excessive hand-arm vibration is a common issue with most wet screeds on the market. The ScreeDemon addresses this with a patented mount retention system that allows the use of low durometer isolators without compromising control. The result? Hand-arm vibration levels that are 50 to 90% lower than competing screeds, ensuring a safer and more comfortable experience for operators.
