Safe & Secure Payments
SpecPatch 30 is a general-purpose polymer-modified concrete repair mortar designed for repairing concrete floors, walls, precast concrete, tilt-up panels, sidewalks, curbs, masonry surfaces, and structural concrete. This one-component repair material requires only the addition of water and delivers durable, long-lasting repairs for horizontal, vertical, and overhead applications. It can be feather-edged, shaved, sanded, and shaped to blend with surrounding concrete surfaces.
The extended working time of SpecPatch 30 makes it ideal for larger repairs where contractors need additional placement and finishing time while still achieving rapid strength development.

Application Instructions
Surface Preparation
For maximum durability:
- Remove oil, grease, dust, laitance, and contaminants.
- Saw cut repair perimeter where appropriate.
- Mechanically prepare substrate to a minimum CSP 5 profile.
- Bring substrate to Saturated Surface Dry (SSD) condition before placement.
Priming
For enhanced performance:
- Coat exposed reinforcing steel with SpecPrep SB.
- Prime SSD concrete with SpecPrep SB or apply a scrub coat of mixed repair mortar before placement.
Mixing
Mix each 50 lb bag with:
- 6.75–7.25 pints of clean water
Mix thoroughly using a low-speed drill for 2–3 minutes until homogeneous.
Placement
- Trowel firmly into repair area.
- Ensure intimate contact with substrate.
- Slightly overfill repair.
- Shape during placement.
- After initial set, shave to final profile with a steel trowel.
Deep Repair Applications
For repairs deeper than 3/4 inch:
- Extend with clean 3/8" SSD pea gravel.
- Add up to 50% aggregate by weight.
- Mix an additional 2 minutes.
This creates a repair more closely matched to the thermal properties of surrounding concrete.
