RepCon UW Mortar is a fiber-reinforced concrete repair mortar formulated specifically for underwater repairs

RepCon UW Mortar offers minimal washout and exceptional resistance to salt water, chlorides, and sulfates, making it suited to underwater concrete tanks, dams, seawalls, piles, piers, and other marine or hydraulic structures. It can be applied by hand from 1/2" up to several inches thick.

Application Instructions

• Ensure the concrete is sound and free of marine growth, laitance, and other contaminants
• Mix 5.5-6.0 pints of clean water per 50 lb bag using a heavy-duty low-speed drill, adding water to the container first
• Mix for 3-4 minutes to a non-sag consistency — the mix will seem dry at first but smooths out with continuous mixing
• Mix only what can be applied within about 10 minutes
• Place the mixed mortar in a bucket and submerge to maximize work time, then firmly press into the prepared area for full contact with the bonding surface

• Coverage: Approximately 20 sq ft at 1/4" thickness per 50 lb bag
• Shelf Life: 12 months in unopened bags, stored in a dry, cool area away from direct sunlight
