Rust-Oleum® Chalkboard converts surfaces into a usable chalkboard. Apply to metal, wood, masonry, drywall, plaster, glass, concrete, unglazed ceramics and hardboard. Erases cleanly. 

  • Painted chalkboards are for indoor use only.
  • Chalkboard painted surface can be cleaned with soap and water.
  • Available in black spray paint, pre-mixed brush-on paint in black and green, and as a tint base that can be mixed at your retailer's paint counter.

FOR BEST RESULTS

  • Apply Chalkboard brush paint with a foam roller but avoid excessive rolling.
  • Allow paint to dry for 3 days
  • Once the paint has cured, prepare the surface for chalk by rubbing side of chalk over entire surface and erasing.
  • Do not use an abrasive sponge to clean the chalkboard surface.
