RepCon 928 FS is a very rapid-setting, polymer-modified concrete repair mortar for the fastest possible return to traffic

RepCon 928 FS is a fiber-reinforced repair mortar with a corrosion inhibitor, built for concrete floors, highway pavements, and bridge decks where quick traffic resumption is critical. It meets ASTM C928 and AASHTO T260 standards and is self-curing under most conditions.

Application Instructions

• Ensure the concrete is sound and free of oil, grease, dust, laitance, or contaminants
• Saw cut the perimeter of the repair area 1/8" deeper than the repair depth for a notched edge
• Mechanically abrade to a minimum CSP of 5 per ICRI 310.2, keeping the surface SSD with no standing water
• Remove rust from exposed steel reinforcement and coat with SpecPrep SB, applying the repair mortar wet-on-wet or within the recommended open time
• Mix 4.75-5.0 pints of clean water per 50 lb bag (up to 5.25 pints for non-DOT, higher-flow applications) with a low-speed drill or mortar mixer for 2-3 minutes
• Apply from 1" to 2" without extension; for deeper DOT or heavy-traffic repairs, extend with clean, SSD 3/8" aggregate up to 60% by weight (over 1") or 100% by weight (over 4")
