SC Concrete Finish is a decorative, cement-based resurfacing mortar for smoothing, resurfacing, and restoring concrete, and doubles as a breathable waterproofing coating

SC Concrete Finish resurfaces, rubs, sacks, and restores concrete surfaces, and can also serve as a waterproofing coating for vertical concrete and masonry substrates. It creates a uniform, water-resistant surface that fills voids while remaining fully breathable, and works as a consistent alternative to traditional jobsite sacking mixes.

Application Instructions

• Ensure the surface is structurally sound, clean, and free from dirt, release agents, and efflorescence
• Mix mechanically with a slow-speed mixer for about 3 minutes, without over-mixing
• Add roughly half of the required 5 quarts of liquid first, then gradually add the SC Concrete Finish powder and chosen admixture (water or StrongBond) to a heavy pancake-batter consistency
• Let the mix rest 3 minutes to "fatten," then remix and adjust consistency as needed
• Brush-applied: use a 6-inch cement mason's brush with long, smooth horizontal strokes; finish all final strokes in one direction for an even texture
• Spray-applied: mix with 10-12 pints of liquid using plaster or low-pressure spray equipment
