Product Description
SpecPrep SB is a three-component bonding adhesive that creates a structural bond between fresh and existing concrete, and doubles as an anti-corrosion coating for rebar
SpecPrep SB offers up to a 24-hour open time and resists penetration of water and chlorides, though it won't form a vapor barrier after cure. It's suitable for bonding fresh concrete or repair mortars to existing concrete, and for protecting steel reinforcement during restoration.

Application Instructions
- Ensure surfaces are clean and structurally sound, removing oil, grease, dirt, laitance, rust, and curing compounds
- Abrasive blast cleaning or mechanical removal is recommended to achieve CSP 5-7 per ICRI Guideline 310.2-1997
- Apply to a saturated-surface-damp (SSD) substrate using a stiff brush or hopper gun
- For bonding, apply at 65-75 sq ft per gallon to a minimum thickness of 20 mils
- Acts as an effective bonding agent for up to 24 hours at approximately 65°F
