Super SpecPlug is a single-component, add-water mortar that expands slightly as it sets, forming a durable, watertight bond without shrinking or oxidizing. It's certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 61 for potable water contact.

Application Instructions

• Enlarge cracks to at least 3/4" in width and depth, cut square or undercut (avoid "V" shaped cuts)
• Clean the substrate thoroughly to remove grease, wax, oil, and other contaminants
• Saturate the surface with water, leaving no standing water
• Mix with clean water to a putty consistency — approximately 20-21% water by weight, or about 9.5 pints per 50 lbs of product
• Mix only what can be placed within 2 minutes
• For vertical or moving-water applications, hold firmly in place until final set, about 3 minutes
• Keep damp for optimal strength — wet curing for up to 2 days gives the best results
