UW Grout - Underwater Cementitious Grout

UW Grout is a pumpable, underwater cement-based non-shrink grout with a corrosion inhibitor, purpose-built for pile restoration and other submerged repairs

UW Grout is formulated for underwater use in tidal zones, offering a non-shrink, non-metallic, wash-out resistant grout in thicknesses from 1/2" up to several inches. It resists washout and salt water, making it suitable for bridge columns, concrete pilings, and dam repairs.

Application Instructions

• Mix 7 to 7.5 pints of water per 50 lb bag to a flowable consistency using a mechanically powered grout mixer
• Keep the mixer running continuously to prevent setting delays
• Can be dry-packed, poured, or pumped; use a flexible tube for placement to ensure even distribution and minimize water entrapment
• No curing is required for fully submerged applications
• For above-water applications, cover with wet rags immediately after setting, followed by an ASTM C309-91 compliant curing compound

• Shelf Life: 1 year when stored properly in a cool, dry place away from moisture
