SkudoBoard CORNER GUARD is a rigid, synthetic protection board designed to fit securely around sharp edges such as corners, stair treads, and wall edges. It delivers reliable impact resistance while remaining lightweight and easy to install.

The textured surface provides added slip resistance, while its fire-retardant and water-resistant properties make it suitable for both interior and exterior applications. Engineered to resist curling and warping, it helps reduce jobsite hazards while maintaining long-lasting protection. With the same compression strength as standard SkudoBoard, it effectively protects surfaces from dropped objects, equipment, and heavy traffic.

Assessment & Suitability

• Not recommended for unprepared or uneven surfaces
• Do not use on freshly poured concrete unless it will be covered later, as it may cause curing lines

How to Apply

• Loose lay the Corner Guard across two stair treads and measure infill requirements
• Pre-cut SkudoBoard sheets for proper fit before installation
• Secure the top piece to a base board to anchor the system
• Work downward, securing with 3" SkudoBoard Tape along seams
• For wider treads, tape seams to secure multiple pieces
• Wall applications can be secured with 3M Command Strips or tape when used with other Skudo protection products
