Wood's Powr-Grip N6292 — 11" Rugged Metal Handle Vacuum Hand Cup for Flat Surfaces (225 lbs / 102 kg)

The Wood's Powr-Grip N6292 is the highest-capacity standard hand cup in the WPG lineup, featuring an 11" (28 cm) G3370 standard rubber suction pad — the largest pad diameter available in the WPG hand cup range — and a rugged metal handle, rated for loads up to 225 lbs (102 kg) on flat smooth, nonporous surfaces. Ideal for glass and other smooth, nonporous flat surfaces. Operable down to 10°F (-12°C). Supplied with a protective pad cover. The N6292 (SKU: 91820, Model: N6292) is manufactured by Wood's Powr-Grip.

The N6292 occupies the top of the WPG hand cup capacity range. The 11" G3370 pad provides the largest vacuum contact area of any WPG hand cup, enabling the 225 lb rated capacity — significantly higher than the 175 lb N6450/N6450WBP (10" G0750 pad) and the 125 lb N4000/N4950 (8" G0695 pad). The G3370 pad is also used on the MTA Heavy Duty Lifter Series “L” models, making replacement pads interchangeable across the N6292 and MTA “L” series lifters. The N6292 is flat-only — for curved surface applications at high capacity, see the N6450 (10" pad, 175 lb, flat+curved, min. 13" radius).

Key Features & Benefits

11" G3370 Pad — Largest Pad in the WPG Hand Cup Lineup — 225 lb Capacity

The 11" (28 cm) G3370 standard rubber pad is the largest suction pad available on any WPG hand cup, providing the greatest vacuum contact area and the highest rated load capacity in the WPG hand cup range at 225 lbs (102 kg). The G3370 pad is also used on the MTA Heavy Duty Lifter Series “L” models (MTA811L, MTA411L), making replacement pads interchangeable across the N6292 and MTA “L” series lifters. Replacement G3370 pads are available separately through Wood’s Powr-Grip authorized distributors.

Rugged Metal Handle — Built for Heavy-Duty Flat Surface Lifting

The N6292 features a rugged metal handle designed for the demands of heavy-duty flat surface lifting at the 225 lb capacity level. The metal handle provides the structural rigidity and durability required for repeated high-capacity lifts of large glass panels, stone slabs, and other heavy flat smooth nonporous materials.

225 lb (102 kg) Rated Load Capacity — Highest in the WPG Hand Cup Range

At 225 lbs (102 kg), the N6292 provides the highest rated load capacity of any WPG hand cup — covering large architectural glass panels, heavy stone slabs, and other large flat smooth nonporous materials that exceed the capacity of smaller WPG hand cups. For reference: N6450 (175 lb, 10" pad, flat+curved), N4950 (125 lb, 8" pad, flat only), N4000 (125 lb, 8" pad, flat only).

Flat Surfaces Only — Smooth Nonporous — 10°F Rating — Protective Pad Cover

Rated for flat smooth, nonporous surfaces only — not for curved surfaces. For curved surface applications at high capacity, the N6450 (10" G0750 pad, 175 lb, flat+curved, min. 13" radius) is the correct choice. Operable down to 10°F (-12°C). Supplied with a protective pad cover to keep the G3370 pad clean and protected during storage and transport. Red-line indicator warns of any significant vacuum loss.

Common Applications

Large Architectural Glass Panel Handling

Glaziers handling large architectural glass panels, structural glass units, and heavy glass lites use the N6292 where the 225 lb capacity and 11" pad contact area are required for the panel weight and size, and the flat surface rating covers the glass geometry.

Heavy Stone Slab Handling

Stone installers and fabricators handling large, heavy flat stone slabs — including granite countertops, marble panels, and engineered stone — use the N6292 where the 225 lb capacity covers the slab weight and the flat surface rating is appropriate for the slab geometry.

High-Capacity Flat Panel Lifting

Any flat smooth nonporous panel application requiring more than 175 lb capacity (the N6450 limit) and up to 225 lb — including large glass panels, heavy stone, and smooth metal panels — where the N6292’s 11" pad and 225 lb rating are the correct specification.

Safety Data Summary

  • Vacuum loss during a lift can result in sudden load drop, causing serious injury or property damage
  • Do not exceed the 225 lb (102 kg) rated load capacity
  • Flat smooth nonporous surfaces only — do not use on curved, textured, or porous surfaces
  • Damaged or contaminated suction pads must be replaced before use
  • Operating below 10°F (-12°C) may degrade rubber pad performance
  • Safety glasses or face shield, cut-resistant gloves, and steel-toed footwear required

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is the difference between the N6292 and the N6450?
A: The N6292 uses the larger 11" G3370 pad and is rated for 225 lbs on flat surfaces only. The N6450 uses the 10" G0750 pad and is rated for 175 lbs on both flat and curved surfaces (min. 13" radius). Choose the N6292 for the highest flat-surface capacity; choose the N6450 when curved surface compatibility is required or when 175 lb capacity is sufficient.

Q: Is the G3370 pad the same as the pad used on the MTA Heavy Duty Lifter Series?
A: Yes. The G3370 standard rubber pad (11" diameter) is the same pad used on the MTA Heavy Duty Lifter Series “L” models (MTA811L, MTA411L). Replacement G3370 pads are interchangeable across the N6292 and MTA “L” series lifters.

Q: Is this product made to order?
