Heavy-Duty Trailer Construction
The Special Express Water Wagon is built around a reinforced 7-inch channel iron frame designed for demanding industrial towing applications. Tandem 10K axles and electric brakes provide improved towing stability and control under full water loads. Internal tank baffling helps reduce water surge during transport for safer towing performance.
Diamond tread fenders, walkway surfaces, galvanized manifolds, and industrial plumbing components are designed to withstand rugged jobsite conditions and long-term fleet use.
Pump & Spray System
The standard trailer uses a commercial-grade 2-inch Tsurumi transfer pump powered by a Honda engine for reliable high-volume water transfer. Optional high-pressure systems increase performance up to approximately 100 GPM at 100 PSI for demanding spray applications.
The rear dual-nozzle spray bar allows wide-area watering coverage for dust suppression and soil conditioning applications. Optional electric spray valves and remote controls improve operator convenience from inside the tow vehicle.
Hose & Filling System
The trailer includes multiple hose systems designed for versatile water delivery and fast refill operations.
Included Water Handling Components
- 20' suction/fill hose
- Suction strainer with fire hydrant adapter
- 25' fire hose with nozzle
- Optional 100' rubber fire hose
- Manual swivel hose reel
- Pressure and gravity discharge options
- Anti-siphon fill protection system
Trailer Safety Features
- DOT-approved LED lighting
- Electric trailer brakes
- Baffled tank for improved towing stability
- LED work lights for nighttime operation
- Amber warning beacon
- Backup signal system
- Heavy-duty safety chains
- Lower center of gravity for improved control
Towing Requirements
Due to the trailer’s high-water capacity and GVWR, Wylie recommends a 1-ton truck or larger for towing. A CDL may be required depending on local regulations and towing configuration. Operators should always comply with DOT towing requirements and applicable state laws.
Optional Equipment
High Pressure Pump Package
Optional high-pressure configuration delivers up to 100 GPM at 100 PSI for more demanding spray and firefighting applications.
Remote-Control Spray Valve
Electric spray valve system with wireless key fob allows operators to activate the rear spray bar remotely from the tow vehicle.
Diesel Engine Package
Optional diesel-powered pump system available for extended runtime and commercial fleet applications.
Algae Resistant Black Tank
Optional black polyethylene tank helps reduce algae growth during outdoor storage and warm-weather operation.
