The V.E.S.P.A. Polishing System (Value Engineered Simplified Polished Application) is designed for the concrete polishing industry as a cost-effective alternative to traditional multi-step polishing systems.

It combines a hybrid metal bond matrix with a diamond-embedded pad to deliver faster cutting, faster honing, and efficient polishing on flat concrete surfaces.

V.E.S.P.A. pads are designed for use on burnishing machines, buffing equipment, and automatic scrubbers, making them highly versatile for both polishing and maintenance applications.

These pads are ideal for new, flat concrete surfaces and can also be used for refurbishment of previously densified floors when properly prepared.

On flat, dense concrete surfaces, expected coverage ranges from:

Usage Notes

The V.E.S.P.A. system is designed to progressively open, hone, and polish concrete surfaces up to 1500 grit, creating a surface ready for densifier, guard, or sealer application.

For older or uneven concrete, initial grinding with traditional diamond tooling is recommended before using V.E.S.P.A. pads.

Important Cautions

• Do not use over uneven slabs, height transitions, or unprepared control joints
• Remove all nails, screws, anchors, or metal objects before use
• Fill deep cracks, gouges, or holes prior to polishing
• Inspect slab thoroughly before operation

Wet Use -Recommended

• Keep surface fully saturated during use
• Avoid light misting only, as slurry may harden into paste and reduce effectiveness
• Clean pads thoroughly after each use

Dry Use

• Use with burnishing machines equipped with active dust extraction
• Lower grits may generate significant dust
• Suitable equipment includes propane or electric high-speed burnishers
