Technical Specifications

Available Sizes

The right angle plug design sets this cord apart from standard straight-plug appliance cords by keeping the connection flush against the wall or outlet panel, reducing the risk of accidental disconnection and minimizing cord protrusion in tight spaces. The flat SPT-3 wire construction adds durability over standard SPT-1 or SPT-2 cords, and the cULus Listing confirms the product has been independently evaluated for safety compliance.

Key Features & Benefits

Right Angle Plug Design

The right angle 5-15 plug sits flush against the outlet, reducing strain on the plug and receptacle in installations where clearance is limited. This is particularly useful when cords run along baseboards or behind appliances where a straight plug would protrude and create a tripping or snagging hazard.

14/3 AWG Flat SPT-3 Wire

The 14 AWG conductor size supports the full 15-amp, 1875-watt rating without voltage drop concerns over the available lengths. The flat SPT-3 construction provides a heavier-duty jacket compared to lighter SPT-1 or SPT-2 cords, offering greater resistance to wear in appliance cord applications.

Medium Duty Rating

Rated for medium duty use, this cord is engineered for the demands of small appliance connections rather than light-duty household use. Contractors and facilities managers can specify it with confidence for commercial appliance installations.

cULus Listed

The cULus Listing means the cord has been evaluated and certified by a nationally recognized testing laboratory for both U.S. and Canadian safety standards. This certification is often required for commercial installations and helps ensure compliance with job site and facility requirements.

Five Length Options

Available in 3 ft, 6 ft, 9 ft, 12 ft, and 15 ft lengths, this cord can be matched precisely to the installation distance, avoiding excess cord that creates clutter or safety hazards. Ordering the correct length also reduces material waste on the job.

Case Pack Quantities for B2B Procurement

Sold in case packs of 12 or 24 units depending on length, this cord is structured for bulk purchasing by contractors, distributors, and facilities teams. Case pack weights are documented per SKU, simplifying freight and logistics planning.

Common Applications

Small Appliance Connections

Designed specifically as a small appliance cord, this product is suited for powering countertop appliances, office equipment, and similar devices in commercial or residential settings.

Tight-Clearance Outlet Installations

The right angle plug is ideal for installations where the outlet is located behind furniture, cabinetry, or appliances, allowing the cord to exit parallel to the wall rather than perpendicular.

Replacement AC Cords

With a standard 5-15 plug and 5-15 receptacle, this cord can serve as a replacement AC cord for appliances that use the common NEMA 5-15 configuration.

Commercial Facility Maintenance

Facilities maintenance teams can stock multiple lengths in case quantities to have the correct cord on hand for a variety of appliance replacement or installation tasks.
