Application Instructions
Surface Preparation
- Protect people, vehicles, property, plants, and all adjacent or nearby surfaces from product, splash, and wind drift using polyethylene or other proven protective material.
- Ensure all surfaces are clean and free of grease, oil, dust, and dirt. Pre-clean oil spots or deep stains with an appropriate surface preparation product prior to application.
- Verify that surface and air temperatures are at least 50°F (10°C) and below 90°F (32°C) during application.
Wet Grinding
- Thoroughly wet the concrete surface with water.
- Apply First Cut by low-pressure sprayer, or pour directly from the container or a bucket and spread with a soft-bristled push broom immediately in the grinder's path. Coat the floor up to 10 feet or less in front of the grinder. Saturate the floor but do not create puddles.
- Wet grind the floor starting with the lowest grit diamonds specified (200 grit resin or lower). Adjust water flow from the grinder to create a thick foam of slurry. Ensure the grinder reaches treated areas before First Cut dries. If the floor begins to dry during grinding, re-wet with water. Do not allow the floor to completely dry.
- If desired, clean the floor between each grinding step with fresh water. Reapply First Cut following steps 1–3 for additional wet processing steps.
Storage and Handling
- Store in a cool, dry place in tightly sealed containers.
- Maintain storage temperatures between 45–100°F (7–38°C).
- Do not double stack pallets.
