Application Instructions

• Mix or agitate before each use; apply undiluted
• Apply immediately after final steel troweling once surface water evaporates, at 250-350 sq ft/gal on tightly steel-troweled concrete
• As a cure coat, apply before adding reinforcing steel, within two weeks of pouring, at 400 sq ft/gal
• Apply a second coat at right angles once the first dries, typically 500-700 sq ft/gal
• On old slabs, flood with clean water, squeegee off excess, then apply until rejection, with a second coat at right angles
• Test readiness — treated surface should feel dry and soap-like, with water beading on contact
• Mist the slab with water before pouring to prevent surface scouring; reapply if exposed to rain before the coat dries
