Quartz Floor Hardener is a dry-shake blend of quartz aggregates and cement binders that boosts concrete floor abrasion resistance up to four times
Quartz Floor Hardener integrates into fresh concrete during the finishing process, creating a dense, low-dusting surface that's easier to clean and maintain. It's suitable for both interior and exterior floors and is available in Natural Gray as well as several color options.
Key Features & Benefits
- Enhances impact and abrasion resistance up to four times versus plain concrete
- Creates a dense surface that minimizes liquid penetration and simplifies maintenance
- Reduces surface dust
- Suitable for interior and exterior applications
- Available in Natural Gray, Light Reflective, Tile Red, French Gray, Battleship Gray, and Nile Green
- Non-fading, non-rusting colors
Application Instructions
- Ensure concrete is at grade level and smoothly compacted with a wooden bull float before application
- Apply evenly with a mechanical spreader over fresh concrete; start at the perimeter, which sets faster than the center
- Allow the first two-thirds of hardener to absorb moisture before a final float, then apply the remaining third and complete floating
- Do not add water to aid finishing — this weakens the surface; a hard-troweled finish is recommended
- Apply an ASTM C309 compliant curing compound after the final float
