Always Sharp
Almost all polishing pads available on the market are designed for granite grinding with cooling. However, craftsmen often use these pads for dry processing of porcelain stoneware on angle grinders. This leads to quick 'clogging' and dulling of the diamond grains – reducing processing speed, causing chipping, and lowering edge quality.
CoolPAD polishing pads are specially designed for dry grinding of ceramics and porcelain stoneware on angle grinders. The composition of the diamond-bearing layer ensures consistently high processing speed, delivering the best surface quality. You can touch the tile glaze without fear of damaging the edge. The 'evolvent' layer profile effectively removes slurry from the grinding area.
Thanks to these properties, one pad number replaces three polishing pads of different grit sizes. For example, #1 replaces grits 30, 60, 120; #2 – 120, 200, 400; #3 – 400, 800, 1000; #0 – the fastest grinding with extended durability. It's very convenient! Before first use, the working surface of the pad must be opened with an abrasive material.
Polishing pads are manufactured with an outer diameter of 100 mm and four levels of processing quality: #0, #1, #2, #3.
