Product Overview

The Wood's Powr-Grip P2 Lifter Series is a double-channel vacuum lifting system designed for handling large, heavy glass panels and other flat nonporous materials at the job site or in the shop. By combining two single Pad Channels into one integrated machine, the P2 reaches up to 1,400 lbs [635 kg] of lifting capacity while maintaining a compact, narrow-profile design that fits into spaces other lifters can't reach.

The P2 is a modular, component-based system built from two parts: a Lift Frame (3.5 ft, 4.5 ft, or 7 ft width) and two Pad Channels. Existing P1 owners can upgrade by purchasing a P2 Lift Frame and one additional Pad Channel — no need to replace equipment already on hand. Channels swap between frames in minutes.

The PC1104DC3 Pad Channel adds Intelli-Grip® with Dual Vacuum System, actively monitoring power and vacuum in real time via LCD screen, diagnostic codes, buzzer, and strobe light. The PC1104DC is the standard version for smooth, nonporous loads without the Dual Vacuum System.

How It Works

Select one Lift Frame and two Pad Channels of the same model. Each Pad Channel operates its own independent vacuum-generating system including pump, battery, and controls. The lifter supports 180° manual rotation (edgewise, locking at each quarter turn) and 90° manual tilt (upright to flat, with automatic upright latching) — covering the full range of positioning needed for glazing installation.

Intelli-Grip® Technology (PC1104DC3)

Exclusively from Wood's Powr-Grip. Actively monitors power and vacuum systems and communicates status via LCD screen, diagnostic codes, notification buzzer, and strobe light — alerting operators before a problem becomes a safety incident.

Dual Vacuum System (PC1104DC3)

Two fully independent air-line circuits operate in parallel. If one circuit is compromised, the other continues holding the load — a critical safety feature for heavy overhead lifts.

Full Load Movement

Manual 180° edgewise rotation with quarter-turn locking, plus 90° tilt between upright and flat with automatic upright latching.

Battery-Powered — Cord-Free Operation

Each Pad Channel runs on an onboard 12V DC rechargeable battery with an onboard charger (status indicator + auto shut-off) and a real-time battery gauge.

Two-Action Blow-Off Release

Requires two separate button presses to release a load, preventing accidental drops. Reverses airflow instantly on release — no after-stick.
