Mixing

1. Pour or shovel the dry PROSOCO Marble Poultice into a suitable mixing container.
2. While mixing, add sufficient Iron Stain Remover to produce a wet paste of trowelable consistency. Approximately 1 quart of Iron Stain Remover is required per 1 pound of dry Marble Poultice powder.

Application

1. Apply the prepared poultice mix to the stained surface at a uniform thickness of approximately 1/4 inch using a plasterer's trowel or wide, flexible taping knife.
2. Cover the poultice with PROSOCO's OverCoat protective paper, glossy side down. Press firmly against the poultice, rub gently to remove air pockets and ensure smooth overall adhesion, and tape/seal off all edges.
3. Allow the poultice to remain on the surface for 12–24 hours.
4. Remove OverCoat. Allow the poultice to dry completely, approximately 2–4 hours. A fully developed network of surface cracks indicates the poultice is completely dry. Dry times vary with temperature, wind, and humidity.
5. After the poultice is completely dry, carefully scrape the poultice from the surface.
6. Using a stiff-fibered scrubbing brush and fresh water, wash the surface thoroughly.

Storage and Handling

1. Transport and store in a cool, dry place with adequate ventilation at temperatures of 45–100°F (7–38°C).
2. Always seal container after dispensing. Do not alter or mix with other chemicals.
