Product Description
Wood's Powr-Grip MTA2HV11 — Regular Duty Vacuum Lifter with Quadra Tilt — Small Pad Frame for Narrow Loads (300 lbs / 135 kg)
The Wood's Powr-Grip MTA2HV11 is a regular-duty 2-pad vacuum lifter featuring a small pad frame designed for handling narrow loads — ideal for glass and polished stone — with mechanically assisted Quadra Tilt that makes moving materials between vertical and horizontal positions easier. Rated for loads up to 300 lbs (135 kg), the MTA2HV11 is available in Air (compressed air), AC (corded electrical outlet), and DC (battery, Special Order) power configurations. Manufactured by Wood's Powr-Grip.
The MTA2HV11 is the regular-duty, narrow-load counterpart to the MTA Heavy Duty Series (MTA4/MTA8). The small pad frame is specifically designed for narrow glass panels, stone slabs, and other narrow-profile loads where a wider pad frame would not fit or would be impractical. The Quadra Tilt mechanism provides mechanically assisted tilting, reducing the effort required to transition loads between vertical (transport) and horizontal (placement) orientations during glazing, stone installation, and fabrication operations.
Key Features & Benefits
Small Pad Frame — Designed for Narrow Loads
The MTA2HV11’s small pad frame is specifically designed for narrow glass panels, polished stone slabs, and other narrow-profile loads where a wider pad frame would not fit the available surface area. This makes the MTA2HV11 the correct choice for narrow architectural glass, thin stone panels, and other narrow-format materials that cannot be handled by wider-frame lifters.
Mechanically Assisted Quadra Tilt — Easier Vertical-to-Horizontal Transitions
The Quadra Tilt mechanism provides mechanically assisted tilting, significantly reducing the operator effort required to move loads between vertical and horizontal positions. This is critical for glazing and stone installation workflows where loads must be transported vertically and then tilted to horizontal for placement — or vice versa. The mechanical assist reduces fatigue and improves control during the tilt operation.
300 lb (135 kg) Rated Load Capacity
Rated for loads up to 300 lbs (135 kg) — covering the majority of narrow glass panels and stone slabs encountered in glazing and stone installation work.
Air, AC, and DC Power Options
Available in three power configurations to match your work environment: Air (compressed air, SKU 97441) for environments with compressed air available; AC (corded electrical outlet, SKU 97440) for stone shop and site environments with power access; and DC (battery-powered, Special Order) for cordless field use without power or compressed air.

Common Applications
Narrow Glass Panel Handling
Glaziers handling narrow architectural glass panels, window lites, and glass strips use the MTA2HV11 where the small pad frame fits the narrow panel width and the Quadra Tilt enables controlled vertical-to-horizontal transitions during installation.
Polished Stone Slab Handling
Stone installers handling narrow polished stone slabs, countertop sections, and stone panels use the MTA2HV11 where the small pad frame fits the narrow slab profile and the Quadra Tilt reduces operator effort during tilt operations.
Glazing and Stone Installation Tilt Operations
The Quadra Tilt mechanism is specifically suited for glazing and stone installation workflows where loads must be tilted between vertical transport orientation and horizontal placement orientation. The mechanical assist reduces fatigue during repeated tilt operations on a job site.
How to Select Your Power Configuration
- Air (MTA2HV11AIR, SKU 97441): Choose when compressed air is available at the point of use. Typically suited for stone shop environments and job sites with air compressor access. In-stock.
- AC (MTA2HV11AC, SKU 97440): Choose when an electrical outlet is available at the point of use. Suited for stone shop environments and job sites with power access. In-stock.
- DC (MTA2HV11DCS, Special Order): Choose for cordless, mobile field use where neither compressed air nor electrical power is reliably available. Battery-powered. Special Order — contact us for lead time.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the difference between the MTA2HV11 and the MTA Heavy Duty Series (MTA4/MTA8)?
A: The MTA2HV11 is a regular-duty 2-pad lifter with a small pad frame designed for narrow loads (glass and polished stone) up to 300 lbs. The MTA Heavy Duty Series (MTA4/MTA8) uses 4-pad or 8-pad configurations for heavier loads (500–1,400 lbs) and is designed for larger, heavier stone slabs. Choose the MTA2HV11 for narrow-profile loads up to 300 lbs; choose the MTA Heavy Duty Series for larger, heavier loads.
Q: Which models are in stock vs. Special Order?
A: The Air (SKU 97441) and AC (SKU 97440) models are available as standard in-stock items. The DC battery model (MTA2HV11DCS) is Special Order — contact us for lead time and availability.
Q: Is this product made to order?
A: Standard in-stock models (SKUs 97441 and 97440) are available for immediate order. The Special Order DC model is built to order and all sales are final.
