Almond Epoxy Pigment

Almond is a versatile neutral color that works well across residential, commercial, and industrial flooring designs.

Its warm beige appearance can provide an alternative to traditional gray, white, or darker floor colors and works particularly well when a clean, neutral floor finish is desired.

Potential applications include:

• Garage floors

• Commercial floors

• Retail spaces

• Showrooms

• Workshops

• Warehouses

• Residential floors

• Basements

• Decorative concrete floors

• Offices

• Light industrial spaces

Pigment for Epoxy Floor Coatings

Pigments allow coating installers to customize the appearance of compatible epoxy systems rather than relying solely on pre-colored coatings.

The pigment is blended into the compatible coating system to create the desired finished color.

For professional flooring contractors, separate pigments can also make it easier to maintain different color options while working with compatible coating systems.

Epoxy Colorant for Decorative Concrete Floors

Decorative concrete and resinous flooring systems are used in environments ranging from residential garages to commercial facilities.

Adding pigment allows installers to incorporate color directly into the compatible coating system.

The Almond color provides a warm neutral appearance suitable for many decorative flooring designs.

It can be particularly useful when the project calls for a floor color that is lighter and warmer than traditional industrial gray.

Applications

MPC Universal Pigment can be considered for compatible epoxy coating applications including:

• Epoxy flooring

• Decorative concrete coatings

• Garage floor coatings

• Commercial flooring

• Residential flooring

• Shop floors

• Showroom floors

• Retail flooring

• Basement floors

• Contractor-applied resinous flooring systems

Always confirm compatibility with the specific coating product before adding pigment.

1-Liter Epoxy Pigment

This product is supplied in a 1-liter container.

The amount of pigment required for a project depends on the compatible coating system, batch size, desired color, and manufacturer recommendations.

Follow the coating and pigment manufacturer's mixing instructions rather than estimating pigment quantities by eye.

Mixing Epoxy Pigment

Proper mixing is important for achieving consistent color throughout an epoxy floor or coating project.

Before application:

• Confirm the pigment is compatible with the coating system.

• Review the coating manufacturer's instructions.

• Measure the required amount accurately.

• Mix thoroughly to distribute the pigment.

• Maintain consistent ratios between batches.

• Avoid changing pigment ratios midway through a project.

• Prepare enough material for the intended application whenever practical.

Consistent measurement and mixing can help reduce visible color differences between batches.

Maintaining Consistent Epoxy Color

Large flooring projects may require multiple batches of coating material.

For the most consistent appearance, installers should carefully control pigment quantities and mixing procedures throughout the project.

Variables such as pigment concentration, coating material, mixing time, substrate conditions, application thickness, and lighting can influence the appearance of the finished floor.

When appearance is critical, creating an appropriate test area before completing the entire installation can help confirm the desired result.

Professional Epoxy Flooring Applications

Epoxy flooring systems are commonly selected for environments requiring a durable, finished floor surface.

An Almond-colored epoxy system can complement many commercial and residential environments, including:

• Garages

• Workshops

• Retail stores

• Offices

• Showrooms

• Warehouses

• Utility rooms

• Basements

• Commercial facilities

• Residential interiors

Always select the underlying epoxy system according to the performance requirements of the environment.

Why Choose an Almond Epoxy Floor Color?

Almond provides a warm neutral appearance that can work with a wide variety of surrounding colors and finishes.

Compared with darker flooring colors, a lighter neutral color can also contribute to a brighter-looking interior space.

Almond is particularly suited to projects where the customer wants a neutral floor without using conventional gray or stark white.

For Professional Flooring Contractors

Keeping pigments available gives professional coating contractors greater flexibility when customers request different flooring colors.

MPC Universal Pigment in Almond can be incorporated into a contractor's selection of decorative flooring products for appropriate compatible epoxy applications.

Whether you're coating a garage, showroom, commercial facility, workshop, or decorative concrete floor, proper pigment selection and consistent mixing are important for achieving a professional finished appearance.
