Pick-Up Stick - Pack of 4

Wood's Powr-Grip PU0950 Pick-Up Stick™ — Precision Vacuum Pickup Tool for Small Nonporous Materials — Pack of 4

The Wood's Powr-Grip PU0950 Pick-Up Stick™ is a precision vacuum pickup tool designed for lifting and positioning small, nonporous materials during assembly operations. Featuring an easy-grip handle with a finger-operated plunger that attaches and releases with a one-stroke action, and supplied with a 1-1/4" (32 mm) concave vacuum pad (Model VG1250). Rated for loads up to 46 oz (1,307 g). Additional pad sizes (3/4" and 1" diameter) are available separately. Operable down to 0°F (-18°C). Sold as a Pack of 4. The PU0950 (SKU: 91102, Model: PU0950) is manufactured by Wood's Powr-Grip.

The Pick-Up Stick™ is a precision hand tool — not a hand cup or vacuum lifter. It is designed for the controlled pickup and placement of small nonporous components during assembly, manufacturing, and fabrication operations where finger contact would contaminate, damage, or misalign the component. The finger-operated plunger provides one-handed attach and release without requiring the operator to set down the tool or use a second hand.

Key Features & Benefits

Finger-Operated Plunger — One-Stroke Attach and Release

The Pick-Up Stick™’s finger-operated plunger in the handle attaches and releases the vacuum pad with a single stroke — enabling one-handed operation throughout the pickup and placement cycle. The operator can pick up a component, position it precisely, and release it without changing grip or using a second hand, making the Pick-Up Stick™ well suited for repetitive assembly operations where speed and control are both required.

Easy-Grip Handle — Critical Placement During Assembly

The easy-grip handle is designed for the precise control required during critical component placement in assembly operations — where the component must be positioned accurately before release. The handle geometry allows the operator to maintain a stable grip while operating the finger plunger and positioning the component simultaneously.

1-1/4" Concave VG1250 Pad — Additional Sizes Available

The PU0950 is supplied with a 1-1/4" (32 mm) diameter concave vacuum pad (Model VG1250). The concave pad geometry conforms to slightly curved component surfaces, providing a reliable seal on components that are not perfectly flat. Additional pad sizes are available separately: 3/4" (19 mm) and 1" (25 mm) diameter. Select the pad size that best matches the contact area available on the component being handled.

46 oz (1,307 g) Rated Capacity — 0°F Rating — Pack of 4

Rated for loads up to 46 oz (1,307 g) — suited for small components, electronic parts, optical elements, small glass pieces, and other small nonporous items within this weight range. Operable down to 0°F (-18°C). Sold as a Pack of 4.

Common Applications

Assembly Operations — Small Component Pickup and Placement

Assembly technicians use the Pick-Up Stick™ to pick up and precisely place small nonporous components — including electronic components, optical elements, small glass pieces, ceramic parts, and polished metal components — where finger contact would contaminate, scratch, or misalign the component.

Manufacturing and Fabrication — Repetitive Small Part Handling

Production operators use the Pick-Up Stick™ for repetitive small part handling in manufacturing and fabrication environments where the one-stroke attach/release and easy-grip handle enable fast, controlled pickup and placement cycles without operator fatigue.

Precision Placement of Small Nonporous Materials

Any application requiring controlled pickup and precise placement of small smooth, nonporous materials within the 46 oz capacity — including glass, ceramic, polished stone, and smooth metal components — where a larger vacuum cup would be impractical due to the small component size.
