Wood's Powr-Grip MRPT8 AC Powered Rotator/Tilter Lifter

WPG MRPT8 Production Lifter — 1,000 lb Powered Rotator/Tilter

The WPG MRPT8 Production Lifter is a 1,000 lb (455 kg) capacity vacuum lifter designed for production and fabrication facilities. It features powered 90° tilt, continuous 360° rotation, and adjustable tilt speed for precise control during lifting operations. Fast attach and release times help support efficient material handling in production environments. The MRPT89AC3 model is AC-powered and includes Intelli-Grip® Technology with a dual vacuum system and a cord for connection to an electric outlet.

Technical Specifications

The MRPT8 combines powered tilting and continuous rotation in a single production vacuum lifter. Its adjustable tilt speed provides control during lifting operations, while Intelli-Grip® Technology automatically monitors the vacuum and power systems. The lifter is designed for production and fabrication facilities where quick attachment, release, rotation, and tilting of loads are required.

Key Features & Benefits

1,000 lb Load Capacity

The MRPT8 is rated for loads up to 1,000 lbs (455 kg), providing substantial lifting capacity for production and fabrication applications.

Powered 90° Tilt

The lifter provides powered 90° tilting, allowing loads to be moved through the required tilt position during material-handling operations.

Continuous 360° Rotation

Continuous 360° rotation allows operators to rotate attached loads through a full range of rotation during production and fabrication operations.

Adjustable Tilt Speed

Adjustable tilt speed provides precise control over the tilting operation, allowing operators to control the movement of the load during handling.

Intelli-Grip® Technology

Intelli-Grip® Technology automatically monitors the lifter's vacuum and power systems to maximize safety and efficiency while simplifying maintenance and repairs.

Fast Attach and Release

Fast attach and release times help improve material-handling efficiency in production and fabrication environments.

Standard Configuration

The MRPT89AC3 configuration includes an AC-powered lifter with Intelli-Grip®, a dual vacuum system, and a cord for connection to an electric outlet.

Available Options

MRPT8-AC3 Extension Arms

Extension arms increase the pad spread to reduce overhang on large loads. The extension arms are sold as a set of four.

Voltage Adaptation — USA

The voltage adaptation option uses a power transformer to adapt the lifter for a 1 kVA, 480 V, 60 Hz AC power source. This option must be ordered with the lifter and requires the Lift Bar Extension option for transformer mounting.

Lift Bar Extension

The Lift Bar Extension improves the hang angle by moving the lift point up and over the pad frame. It also provides a mounting location for a power transformer. The transformer is not included.

Common Applications

Production Facilities

Designed for production environments requiring controlled lifting, tilting, and rotation of loads.

Fabrication Facilities

Suitable for fabrication operations where materials need to be attached, rotated, tilted, and released efficiently.
