MinWool1200 Industrial Board Insulation is made of basalt volcanic rock fibers with thermosetting resin binder.

Advanced production ensures reliable quality, high fiber density/low shot content for high temperature heat control & fire resisting use.

Applications

Very low in-service shrinkage helps prevent gaps from forming at joints & costly thermal leaks. Designed to be field jacketed. May be installed directly on hot surfaces; system shut-down and staged heat-up are not required.

  • Thermal conduction gives control over heat loss for lower operating costs
  • Easy to handle, fabricate & cut with a knife- clean handling reduces irritation and minimizes clean-up/expense
  • Tested in accordance with ASTM E84, UL 723, CAN/ULC-S102-M. Boards have flame spread rating of 5 and smoke developed rating of 0. Faced insulation has flame spread rating of 25 and smoke developed rating of 5.
  • Noncombustible in accordance with ASTM E136 and CAN4-S114-M and Does not support fungi/mold
